About Us

1020874 Our church is in the heart of the village of Prestbury whilst we also attract and join with people from Bollington, Tytherington and Macclesfield. We really hope that you will feel right at home here. Many of our congregation will recount how after visiting just once they then just stayed due to the warmth of the fellowship here. Our Sunday mornings begin with a warm welcome and an invitation to join in celebrating the good news about Jesus. In true Methodist tradition our services vary in style with a mix of older hymns and more contemporary songs as we seek to praise God. We believe God meets with each of us where we are at, no matter what history we have, knowing he cares for us and speaks to us.

We have many activities taking place throughout the week, details of which are found in the Connect section of this web site.

We are also very active in our local community working alongside other agencies as well as running our own projects as an expression of the love of God in a practical way.

Prestbury Village

Welcome to the beautiful historic village of Prestbury and our Methodist Church in the heart of the village. You can expect a warm welcome; great worship; relevant preaching based in the Word of God and a friendly group of people ready to learn more about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

To help plan your journey:

There is free parking available on the church site and in the Village Hall car park which is adjacent to our church.There is an onsite wheel chair and wheelchair access to the ground floor.
Disabled parking available outside the front door
A sound loop system in the main worship area
Baby changing facilities
Large print paper versions of worship songs (please ask)
Disabled toilet in the foyer.

What to expect:

We offer a blended approach of worship (a) face to face Sunday mornings or (b) find us online each week with a regular service offered via You Tube. These are available in the Resources section of this site.
